BEAUTYCON!

Hey everyone! Sorry for not being active these past weeks :( I have had my exam week at school, so I was doing loads of revision for them! But now they are over I can post lots more...YAY

So yesterday I went to beautycon (23rd may) in London with my best friend Hannah (hannahmaybeauty) I cannot believe I went, it was honestly the best experience ever! I got to meet so many youtubers and bloggers such as lily pebbles and vivianna does makeup! They were so kind and I got to talk to them and take a picture which if you follow my instagram (@a_cup_of_e) you would have seen all of the pictures.
At beautycon you could shop, have your makeup done, get freebies, go to panels (Q&A with youtubers and bloggers) ect...
It was such an amazing day and I am so thankful I got to go :)

 HAUL

Moving on to the things I bought or got given as a freebie!
There were brands there such as tarte, nyx, benefit, crown brush, liz earle etc... Some of the brands weren't selling things but made you take a selfie and post it on instagram for a free product, which was a bit confusing but at least I got to choose a free product which was amazing!

The first things I got were from tarte! Tarte is a brand I have wanted to get things from for ages but its an American brand so I have never had the chance to, until now!! :)
So I picked up this beautiful eyeshadow quad up called "for true blues" meaning that the colours suit blue eyes, It was half price so it was £10 which is amazing! The eyeshadows and the packaging is such good quality.

 I then picked up a tarte Amazonian clay blush in the shade "fearless" which is a stunning pink coral colour, the finish is matte and is super pigmented! I absolutely love it :)

I then got a free nyx butter lipstick which I am super excited about! The shade is "cotton candy" It is a stunning bubble-gum pink nude colour, It is so moisturizing and is really pigmented.

I then got a free liz earle goodie bag which came with a liz earle cleanse and polish hot cloth cleanser and a muslin cloth! I have already tried it out and I am so impressed! It is defiantly a must have for me.

I then picked up 2 crown brushes, these are amazing quality! I picked up a SS007 which is a fluffy angled blush brush and a SS026 which is an angled eyeshadow brush! These brushes are such good quality I would defiantly recommend them :) I would love to get more of them as they are so good and soft.

 We then went into a selfie booth haha! And got free temporary tattoos :) x

Over all I am super happy with my beautycon experience and would love to go next year! I also want to thank my Bff Hannah for inviting me to go with her :)

Spring Q and A!


Hello everyone! Today I am doing a Q and A, I thought this would be a good idea so you can get to know me better :)

Q1) What is your favourite lush product?
Hmm... This is a hard one because I love all lush products! But If I have to choose one it would be my let the good times roll cleanser or Creamy candy bubble bar. They are both amazing!


Q2) Favourite sweets?
Probably starbursts or maoams!


Q3) If you were to meet only 5 youtubers, who would they be?
I would love to meet...

Q5) Top three mascaras?
My top three mascaras would be my collection no clumps because it is perfect! The soap and glory thick and fast and my benefit bad gal. I could do a more in-depth favourite mascara post if you want? Comment bellow!


Q6) What is your favourite yankee candle?
I absolutely love yankee candles but my favourite has to be 'Snowflake cookie' from the Christmas range! It is soooo sweet.


Q7) Favourite item of clothing?
My favourite item of clothing is actually a new purchase and it is from oasis! It is a shirt made of silk and has coral and light blue birds on it ( It is stunning!) I will post a picture on my instagram of it if you would like :))

Healthy snack idea for spring!

Hello everyone! So today I felt like doing a food themed blog post, I have recently been loving eating healthy snacks instead of my usual cup of tea and 10 billion biscuits. So lets get straight on with it...

 

To make this delicious healthy snack all you will need is...
-Strawberries
-Raspberries
-Granola/granola bar
-Natural yoghurt
-Honey

You don't have to use the exact same fruits as me or even flavour yoghurt so feel free to choose whatever flavours you want to add! Its totally up to you.








Step 1-  Take your yoghurt of choice using a tablespoon spoon out 2 and a half tablespoons of the yoghurt. You can add more or have less but I think this is the perfect amount for a light snack! The yoghurt I have chosen is the YEO valley natural yoghurt, it's one of my favourites.

 

  Step 2- With your chosen fruit; mine being raspberries and strawberries just cut them up to a size of your choice I left the raspberries whole as they were quite small, after you have chopped and washed them just add it to your bowl on top of the yoghurt.

 

Step 3- Your then going to get your granola and pop that on top, or in my case get a granola bar and crumble that up and pop on top of the yoghurt and fruit. I am using the nature valley honey and oat granola bar for extra crunch and sweetness.

 

Step 4- The last step is to add any sweetness to your snack you could choose brown sugar, syrup or honey. I chose honey as I know I love the taste of it and it would also go with my granola bar! This just adds a nice sweet taste to your snack without it being unhealthy.
