Healthy snack idea for spring!
Hello everyone! So today I felt like doing a food themed blog post, I have recently been loving eating healthy snacks instead of my usual cup of tea and 10 billion biscuits. So lets get straight on with it...To make this delicious healthy snack all you will need is...
-Strawberries
-Raspberries
-Granola/granola bar
-Natural yoghurt
-Honey
You don't have to use the exact same fruits as me or even flavour yoghurt so feel free to choose whatever flavours you want to add! Its totally up to you.
Step 1- Take your yoghurt of choice using a tablespoon spoon out 2 and a half tablespoons of the yoghurt. You can add more or have less but I think this is the perfect amount for a light snack! The yoghurt I have chosen is the YEO valley natural yoghurt, it's one of my favourites.
Step 2- With your chosen fruit; mine being raspberries and strawberries just cut them up to a size of your choice I left the raspberries whole as they were quite small, after you have chopped and washed them just add it to your bowl on top of the yoghurt.
Step 3- Your then going to get your granola and pop that on top, or in my case get a granola bar and crumble that up and pop on top of the yoghurt and fruit. I am using the nature valley honey and oat granola bar for extra crunch and sweetness.
Step 4- The last step is to add any sweetness to your snack you could choose brown sugar, syrup or honey. I chose honey as I know I love the taste of it and it would also go with my granola bar! This just adds a nice sweet taste to your snack without it being unhealthy.
